The IDEA Self-Assessment Tool invites you to review the five stages of implementation via a series of questions then provides strategies for change management.

These stages are:

1. Nonexistent,

2. Ad-hoc Understanding,

3. Managed and Systematic,

4. Defined Strategy, and

5. Optimized Data-driven System

Leaders who became familiar with these tools, began to embrace the discomfort of not knowing, then they acquired new learning and began sharing insights about their own IDEA insights. Leaders explored these with trusted peers then became more confident to share these abstract concepts with their teams.
